Prevue Honesty Warning - What does it mean?

The Prevue Honesty Statement warning indicates to account administrators that there was an issue in collecting the sign-off from the candidate. Candidates typically can not proceed to the assessment without signing the Honesty Statement.
Read on to find out why you may see this error, what it means for your hiring, and what your next steps should be.
Reason 1: The candidate existed before the Honesty Statement was added.
If a candidate was added to the platform before January 23rd, 2026, they will not have been marked as having completed the Honesty Statement since it didn't exist for them at the time.
Reason 2: There was an issue or alteration with the browser
In the rare event that a candidate is able to proceed without signing, they may have certain settings within their browser or have taken specific actions that allow them to proceed without signing.
When a candidate signs the Honesty Statement, we will display their input to you. While there may be slight variations on how they may choose to represent their own name (e.g, Mike vs. Michael), if there is an unreasonable or different name it can be an indication that the candidate did not approach the assessment seriously or that the assessment was completed by someone else.
