There are times when a Candidate who has been invited for an assessment might need to be re-invited to take the assessment. Some reasons for this might be the Candidate has lost, deleted, or forgotten his/her login information or the URL of the website, or perhaps the timeframe has been extensive between when the original invitation was sent out and the expected date to take the assessment. When this occurs the steps to re-invite Candidates are outlined in this guide.
There are two ways to re-invite Candidates in the system:
- Using the ‘Prevue Wizard’ - Available to all PrevueOnline.com logins
- Through the ‘Activities’ area – Re-inviting Candidates using the Candidates tab within an Activity
This guide will outline the steps using the Activities area. Users with access to the ‘Activities’ area of the menu bar can use this method to re-invite candidates. Please refer to the guide on How to Re-Invite Candidates Through Prevue Wizard for an alternate method.
Note: Before you begin, if you need to make any amendments to the invitation emails, please carefully read and follow the instructions in the ‘Amending the Invitation Email’ section of this guide before you begin the Step 1.
STEP 1: Accessing the Activity
Click on the <Activities> menu and then choose <Activity List>.
STEP 2: Selecting the Activity
Locate the Activity in the list or use the Search function by entering the Activity Name and clicking <Search>.
Click on the magnifying glass to the right of the Activity Name to access the Activity Details screen.
STEP 3: Choosing the Candidate
The system will default to the <Candidates> tab. When the candidate you want to re-invite is located, click on the check box to the left of the Candidate’s name.
STEP 4: Re-Inviting the Candidate
Once the Candidate has been selected, click on <Invite> above to send another Invitation Email to this individual.
Amending the Invitation Email (Optional)
STEP 1: Amending the Invitation Email Through Activities
Click on the <Activities> menu heading.
Click on the magnifying glass beside the Activity that you are amending the assessment invitation in.
Step 2: Choose the <Emails> Tab.
Click on the <Emails> tab.
Note: If you need to amend the Invitation Email attached to an Activity, this should be done prior to re-inviting your candidate(s).
STEP 3: Locating the Email
Click <View Email> in the Invitation Email section.
STEP 4: Editing the Email
Click the <Customize> option in the area above the subject link and make your changes in the box below.
STEP 5: Saving the Email
Click <Save and Close> to save the changes in the Invitation Email in the Activity.
