Disabling Copy & Paste
To reduce the risk of test content being shared or answers being taken from external sources, Prevue disables the copy-and-paste functions during assessments.
- Copying: Candidates cannot copy text from assessment questions or instructions.
- Pasting: Candidates cannot paste external text into answer fields.
This ensures that all responses are original and based solely on the candidate’s own abilities.
Timers
Assessments that include a time limit ensure fairness and consistency. Timers help create equal conditions for all candidates and discourage looking up answers during the test. Once started, the timer will continue to run even if the assessment tab is not active.
Randomized Question Order (Question Variation)
Our testing algorithm presents questions in different variations each time an assessment is administered. This reduces the risk of answer sharing and ensures every candidate has a unique testing experience. Randomization also enhances security, making it highly unlikely that a candidate will face the same set of questions.
Hidden Questions and Answers
To maintain the integrity of our assessments, test questions and answers are never shared. Customers cannot view or access this content at any time. Making test material publicly available would risk exposure online, allowing candidates to find answers through a simple search. Questions only become visible once a candidate begins their assessment.
Controlled Account Access
We prevent candidates from creating customer accounts to access tests in advance. Only users with verified business email domains can register, while personal and educational email addresses are not permitted. This ensures that only legitimate organizations use our platform, while candidates can still prepare using our publicly available resources, such as practice tests.
Candidate Honesty Agreement
Before starting an assessment, candidates must agree to Prevue’s Honesty Statement. This confirms their commitment to completing the test on their own, without outside assistance, AI tools, or other prohibited behaviors.
Cheat Detection Algorithm
Prevue uses a proprietary algorithm to identify behaviors and patterns that may indicate cheating during an assessment. By analyzing candidate responses, the system can detect unusual activity or inconsistencies. The exact methods remain confidential to preserve their effectiveness and uphold the integrity of the testing process.
Science-Based Job Benchmarks
Our job profiles are built using scientifically validated data and custom-built for specific roles. Because each benchmark reflects the unique requirements of a position, candidates cannot easily guess the “right” answers. Instead, their results are compared against role-specific standards, making it much harder to game the system. This approach ensures assessments measure genuine fit rather than test-taking strategy.
